    About Us

Elaine’s Foundation for Homeless Felines is a newly founded organization dedicated to saving and insuring better quality of life for the homeless cats. We are an all-volunteer non-profit group launching an effort to control the cats’ overpopulation problem in the state of New Jersey, particularly locally in Bergen County. Our mission is to raise money to spay/neuter feral cats and relocate colonies from unsafe areas. We feed, clean and take care of colonies and seek help from the townships to provide safe areas for them to live. Our eventual goal is to build a sanctuary to relocate the colonies, and then possibly providing jobs and shelter for homeless individuals.

OUR GOALS
  • To rescue and socialize kittens born to feral/stray cats and find suitable adopters for them.

  • Educate residents and local public officials about the Trap/Neuter and Return(TNR) Program

  • Inform residents about the low cost spay/neuter programs available throughout the state and teach them how to take care of the feral colonies and individuals.
